Biography

Jenna Russell* assists clients on a broad range of matters, including wage and hour compliance, employee benefits, privacy and cybersecurity, trade secrets, employment litigation, and cannabis and artificial intelligence in the workplace. She also reviews and updates employee handbooks.

While earning her J.D. at the American University Washington College of Law, Jenna participated in the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic, where she represented low-income individuals being audited by the Internal Revenue Service. In addition, she was a judicial intern at the Department of Employment Services of DC. In that role, she drafted court orders and summarized case law for administrative law judges.

Before attending law school, Jenna served as an advocate at a Pennsylvania nonprofit offering services to victims of domestic violence, as a litigation paralegal at a regional law firm, and as a gender and youth development volunteer in the Peace Corps Morocco.
