Los Angeles, CA (January 27, 2025) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that seasoned employment litigator Christopher Cianci has joined EBG as a Member of the Firm in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management (ELWM) practice. Cianci will operate out of the firm’s Los Angeles office, marking another step forward in EBG’s continued West Coast growth for an employment team that was recently named Law360’s Employment Practice Group of the Year in 2024.

Cianci brings over 15 years of experience as a litigator and trial attorney, focusing on employment law and business litigation. He has successfully guided clients through complex legal challenges, including representing employers in cases involving wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes, class actions, and trade secret matters. His deep business litigation experience includes handling breach of contract disputes, unfair competition claims, and partnership or shareholder disputes.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to our exceptional practice,” said David W. Garland, Chair of the firm’s national ELWM Steering Committee. “Chris’s extensive trial experience and understanding of employment law fits our strategy of adding strength to strength to deliver client-service excellence in California and beyond.”

Throughout his career, Cianci has acted as lead counsel in numerous jury and bench trials, achieving favorable results at all stages of litigation, including on summary judgments, at arbitrations and mediations, and on appeal. Beyond litigation, Cianci provides strategic guidance on employment policies, workforce management practices, and critical personnel decisions.

“EBG provided the right combination of national reach, collegiality, and practice focus to elevate the quality of service I can offer to my clients,” said Cianci. “I am eager to hit the ground running and provide an immediate impact on new opportunities while also continuing to provide outstanding service to current clients on an even greater platform.”
