Overview
Working a case through the appeals process can be daunting. The process may take years and involve highs and lows, especially if the case includes complicated issues or is appealed multiple times. Worse yet, if inexperienced appellate lawyers are chosen, a worthy case or defense could be permanently lost.
Epstein Becker Green’s highly skilled litigators guide and represent businesses (domestic and multinational) through the appeals process. We create and carry out appeals strategies that are effective, practical, and cost-efficient.
Our litigators have a wealth of experience as appellate advocates and are knowledgeable about all aspects of appellate law. They have argued before both state and federal appellate courts throughout the nation, including the Supreme Court of the United States. We help clients reverse undesirable rulings and defend favorable ones.
Our litigators have represented clients in all types of appellate proceedings on matters involving the following, among other things:
- Business disputes
- Civil rights challenges
- Commercial disputes
- Employee benefits issues
- Labor and employment issues
