Overview
Attorney Frances Green's experience includes:
- Advising management of multinational and domestic corporations on all aspects of employment law
- Litigating on behalf of multinational corporations in federal and state courts and before the New York and various regional securities exchanges in all aspects of employment-related litigation, including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and wrongful discharge
- Guiding corporate compliance and risk assessment executives and employers through the creation and implementation of data and information privacy programs and policies, with a particular focus on the use of disruptive technologies and artificial intelligence in the workplace
Frances is a trial lawyer and counselor, and she is expected to complete her Master of Laws in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in December 2023. Frances has studied and worked in Japan as a nun and is conversant in Japanese. In her capacity as a management employment attorney, she has been a featured speaker before the Keidanren (Japan Federation of Economic Organizations) in Tokyo and Osaka, the Japan Society, and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the subject of corporate localization in the United States and the attendant legal issues in managing American employees. Frances lectures frequently to corporate executives throughout the United States and overseas, and has authored numerous articles published worldwide on the issues of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, and related litigation. She has been quoted as a case commentator in The New York Times and various trade and professional journals on employment litigation.
In 2010, Frances joined Michelle Obama, J.K. Rowling, Barbara Walters, Maya Angelou, Suze Orman, and other women leaders as a contributor to The Goddess Shift: Women Leading for a Change, edited by Stephanie Marohn and published by Elite Books. In May 2010, she was featured on FOX News' popular "FOX & Friends" morning television show, along with Oscar-winning actress Olympia Dukakis, to discuss the chapters they contributed. In November 2010, the book won the USA Book News "Best Books 2010" award in the Women's Issues category and was a finalist in the Anthologies Nonfiction category. Royalties from the sale of the book will be used to support non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of girls and young women: Capacitar, Tostan, and the Global Fund for Women.
Frances is an award-winning equestrian and is privileged to serve within the New York City boroughs as an Auxiliary Mounted New York Parks Officer. She also serves on the Advisory Council of the Japan Society and on the Board of the New York City Parks Mounted Auxiliary, a 501(c)(3) foundation supporting the New York City community and the New York City Parks Mounted Enforcement Unit. Frances enjoys indoor and outdoor rowing and racing and has won the US and World Championship in indoor rowing.
