Epstein Becker & Green this week added Tom Jaworski in Nashville from his role as acting U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Jaworski joined as a member of [Epstein Becker Green] in its health care and life sciences practice.
As acting U.S. attorney, Jaworski served as the chief legal enforcement officer, where he directed litigation matters, including health care fraud cases addressing waste and abuse in the health care system.
George Breen, co-chair of [Epstein Becker Green]’s national health care and life sciences steering committee, said in a statement that Jaworski’s “deep connection to the industry and city of Nashville will prove to be of significant benefit for our clients who desire an impressive background in government enforcement and deep experience in matters of health care compliance and litigation.”
Jaworski’s practice includes defense in criminal health care fraud cases and in False Claims Act matters, including qui tam litigation alleging Stark Law / Anti-Kickback Statute violations and billing and coding issues.
