EBG Women's Initiative Event - A Great Success
Epstein Becker & Green is very pleased to announce that the Firm's Women's Initiative event, "New Year, New You," held on February 27, 2008, at Le Parker Meridien Hotel, in New York, was a great success. The program featured Marianne J. Legato, M.D., F.A.C.P., an internationally-recognized specialist and author in the field of women's health, and founder/director of the Partnership for Gender-Specific Medicine at Columbia University.
Dr. Legato gave a talk on the topic of" Why Men Never Remember and Women Never Forget," based on her groundbreaking book of that title (Rodale Books, 2005). Afterward, there was a lively question and answer session, and a book signing by Dr. Legato. The event drew a capacity crowd of nearly 100 guests.
The $75 registration fee will be donated to the "Go Red for Women Campaign" of the American Heart Association.
In her book Why Men Never Remember and Women Never Forget, Dr. Legato, a founder of the study gender medicine, uncovers the neuroscientific reasons behind age-old disputes between men and women, while providing an authoritative and reader-friendly guide to resolving these differences. Her trailblazing study enables readers to understand each other in both personal and professional relationships like never before.
