Overview

Maurice Wells is a litigator who collaborates with clients across industries to create and execute strategies for resolving their disputes before federal and state courts and arbitral tribunals.

Maurice has represented clients in a variety of matters, including complex commercial litigation, business disputes, toxic tort and product liability litigation, Section 1983 claims, bankruptcy litigation, and appeals. Experienced at litigating cases in state, federal, and appellate courts in Ohio, Maurice strategically guides clients through every stage of the litigation process.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Maurice was a litigation attorney at an international law firm where he handled general civil litigation matters, with a focus on toxic tort litigation, and served as national counsel for several large commercial clients. While attending law school, Maurice was an intern for the Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification, an extern at the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Office of Public Information, and a legal extern at an insurance and financial services company’s Office of the Chief Legal Officer.
