Kathleen Barrett: Employers in a range of industries, including health care, retail, hospitality and insurance, count on Kathleen to defend them in employment litigation in state and federal courts. Kathleen has represented companies across the country in wage and hour class actions. She also regularly represents companies in cases involving allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, or wrongful termination brought by single-plaintiff employees at all levels of a company.

Philo Hall: Drawing upon nearly 12 years of experience in a series of federal government health policy positions, Philo brings insight into the legal, policy, budgetary, and political factors influencing federal agency decision making. He counsels health systems and plans, providers, manufacturers, and related investors on complex reimbursement issues and a variety of legal and regulatory matters.

Elizabeth (Liz) Houghton: Liz is an experienced litigator and trusted advisor who partners with employers to find solutions to their most challenging employment law matters. She counsels employers on all facets of employment law, with an eye towards minimizing risk and achieving optimal workplace outcomes. Clients across industries rely on Liz to represent them in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels and administrative agencies.

Randall Lee: Randall has devoted nearly 20 years to finding practical, efficient, and creative solutions for clients in M&A deals, venture capital financing, debt financing, equity financing, secured/unsecured financing transactions, joint ventures, company formation, and other corporate transactions. His clients have ranged from private equity and institutional holding companies to medical practices, surgery centers, entrepreneurs, small privately held companies, start-ups, and venture capital investors.

James (Jim) Mackinson: Jim partners with employers to resolve all manner of workforce issues, in and out of the courtroom. Having served as in-house employment counsel for global financial and professional services firms, Jim sees his client’s employment challenges and disputes from their point of view. An experienced litigator, he regularly defends companies in federal and state courts, arbitration tribunals, and before administrative agencies.

Kevin Malone: Managed care organizations trust Kevin to help them understand and navigate their most difficult legal, compliance, and strategic risks and opportunities. Kevin draws on more than a decade of experience working at the highest levels of health care financing policy and law to help managed care organizations navigate the web of federal and state regulations and program policies governing the health care financing system.

Jennifer O’Connor: Jennifer is a highly skilled litigator, whose practice is focused on a wide range of complex commercial and employment-related matters, with particular emphasis on the financial services industry. Her experience includes assisting in the representation of clients in matters involving the breach of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, the misappropriation of trade secrets, and unfair competition.

Bonnie Odom: Bonnie has an active life sciences practice through which she conducts health regulatory due diligence for transactions involving life sciences companies, provides advice to pharmaceutical and device manufacturers on U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliance matters, and advises mobile app companies and other new entrants to the FDA-regulated environment in understanding and navigating applicable regulatory requirements, among other projects.

David Prager: David works with large and medium-sized employers to solve their employment problems so they can focus on their business. Whether he is litigating unfair competition, non-compete, or trade secret matters, or defending discrimination and harassment cases, clients credit his efficient and results-driven approach. A thoughtful and creative litigator, David routinely finds ways to dispose of claims against his clients early, considerably reducing their exposure.

Jessika Tuazon: Jessika advises health care and life sciences organizations and investors on a broad range of operational, regulatory, and enforcement issues. When clients need help navigating their complex and evolving regulatory landscape, they turn to Jessika for strategic counsel and guidance on managing and mitigating risks.

Scheherazade (Scher) Wasty: Scher concentrates on commercial litigation involving health care providers that span the health care delivery spectrum. She has handled many significant litigations involving payors, providing one-to-one advice and counsel to her clients on complex transactions valued in the tens to hundreds of millions of dollars.
