Biography

ASHLEY A. CREECH* is a Law Clerk – Admission Pending – in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice, in the Washington, DC, office of Epstein Becker Green. She will be focusing her practice on fraud and abuse, value-based payment, transactional, health regulatory due diligence, and compliance matters.

Prior to joining Epstein Becker Green, Ms. Creech served as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where she conducted research on health care mergers and acquisitions, and at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General, where she analyzed corporate integrity agreements and settlement agreements. In addition, she was a Legal Intern at the Office of General Counsel of a not-for-profit organization that manages a network of hospitals, ambulatory care centers, and community physician groups; in that role, she researched health care laws and issues. 

Ms. Creech received her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, with a concentration in business law and health law. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Health Care Law & Policy and a student attorney at the law school’s Public Health Law Clinic, where she advocated for injury prevention legislation to the Maryland General Assembly. Ms. Creech is a recipient of the William P. Cunningham Award for distinguished service to the Carey School of Law and a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Public Health Law Clinic.

Before attending law school, Ms. Creech earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She also worked as a Clinical Manager for health care systems, overseeing the operation of services, financial management, and quality assurance.
