Attorney Sheryl Bohan* guides employers, plan sponsors, and fiduciaries through a broad range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters, providing practical, business-minded advice.

Clients look to Sheryl for strategic counsel on the design, drafting, administration, and compliance of retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and fringe benefits, as well as on executive compensation arrangements, such as equity and incentive compensation programs, employment agreements, and severance agreements. She designs solutions to issues arising under ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, COBRA, federal securities laws, and related Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service, and Securities and Exchange Commission regulations.

Her experience also includes counseling clients on qualified plans in both single- and multi-employer contexts—such as 401(k), Employee Stock Ownership Plans, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and defined benefit plans—on plan terminations and integrations, and on compensation matters in corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and secondary stock offerings.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Sheryl gained extensive experience advising on employee benefits and executive compensation matters at an international law firm.
