The beginning of any new year is a natural time to reflect on the current state of our professional lives. In thinking about one’s current employment, we may ask ourselves questions ranging from the practical (“does my job support me and my family?”) to the ideal (“is my work interesting and fulfilling?”) to the altruistic (“does my work make a positive difference in the world?”). Those questions range from a personal focus to a wider, societal lens, and though one can answer the first two inquiries only for themselves, the current environment suggests that health law professionals can answer a resounding yes to the third.
