By Robert S. Groban, Jr. and Matthew S. Groban
We confirmed today that the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Canada all will limit nonimmigrant visa appointments by third-country nationals
(TCNs) not working and residing in Canada for the summer due to staffing concerns. It appears that Vancouver and Calgary have limited availability for TCN appointments in September, but the rest of the posts are not scheduling TCNs for appointments until October or later. Those TCNs who currently have appointments will not be affected.
