Epstein Becker Green has added health care industry veterans Julie Watson Lampley and Machelle Dunavant Shields from Butler Snow.
Lampley is joining as a Member of the Firm while Shields will be a Strategic Advisor with EBG’s affiliate consultancy.
While at Butler Snow, Lampley led the firmwide health care industry team and the health care regulatory and transactions practice group.
Shields, located in Memphis, was president of Butler Snow’s regulatory, clinical and compliance initiatives for medical device and other manufacturers.
“As we have grown in Nashville, we have been fortunate to attract very talented attorneys and professionals with diverse experience who add tremendously to EBG’s platform,” EBG Board Chair Mark Lutes said in a release. “Julie and Machelle are well known for providing creative solutions and effective advocacy to life science and health care providers located throughout the country. We are confident that their long-standing clients, as well as EBG’s existing clients, will benefit from their joining EBG.”
The New York-based national firm launched its Nashville office in 2017 with former Waller Lansden partner Richard Westling at the helm.
