Even among firms that are leaders on diversity, only a few are consistently above-average on hiring and promoting women and minorities throughout their ranks, according to a pair of Law360surveys.
A firm might, for example, have a relatively high percentage of minority associates but few minority equity partners. Or it might be a pacesetter on gender diversity while being behind the curve when it comes to representation of minorities.
But a few firms are defying these norms, maintaining above-average diversity at all levels when looking at race and ethnicity as well as gender, Law360’slatest Glass Ceiling Report and Diversity Snapshot found.
