Forman … said users can log on to the game using their Google Gmail addresses, a process which allows the app developer unfettered access to users’ Google Drive and Google contact information.
If players are on company-issued devices and those companies use Google as their platform, then any confidential and proprietary business information stored on those platforms could be left vulnerable, Forman said.
Additionally, the app developer is currently authorized under the game's terms of service to sell the information is obtains to third parties.
"By signing in with Google, [players] are giving a third-party developer access to Google drive and potentially unfettered access to confidential and proprietary information," Forman said. "A company would be losing control over company data that [it] doesn't want to lose control over."
