While he enjoyed working for Miller Canfield, Forman told Law360 on Tuesday that he opted for the switch because of EBG's depth in employment law and its commitment to further developing its data privacy practice area.
"EBG is not only well-positioned to handle workplace issues of today, but it is also an industry leader in preparing clients for the workplace issues of tomorrow," Forman said. "I look forward to continuing to help clients through whatever labor and employment issues they may face, including issues related to use of technology in the workplace, a growing area of concern for employers these days.”
Hudock returned to EBG, where he had previously worked for 14 years, after about a year at SAIC, where he counseled the company on privacy and cybersecurity issues and served as a senior vice president. Hudock said he opted to return to private practice after missing its activity level, his clients and his colleagues, he told Law360 on Tuesday.
“Helping clients implement effective risk-management strategies around new data security laws remains a core concern of mine, as does helping clients evaluate the implications of potential security breaches involving the disclosure of sensitive information,” Hudock said.
