Join Epstein Becker Green attorneys in a three-part webinar series on three successive Thursdays this month that will address the new compliance, integrity, and fraud, waste and abuse challenges in the health reform law. This program will discuss the enhancements made by the health reform law to the government's already enormous arsenal of fraud enforcement tools, address the law's new compliance and other obligations and analyze the impediments these provisions and existing fraud and abuse laws will have on achieving health reform's promise of transforming the health care system.
Following an overview in part one, parts two and three of this seminar series will be dedicated to discussing the implications of health reform's enforcement on specific industry sectors, including hospitals and health systems, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, payors and managed care, home care and others. Epstein Becker Green attorneys with experience in each sector will explore some of the key consequences and make practical recommendations for how health care entities can prepare for implementation of these health reform fraud enforcement provisions. The impact of these enforcement provisions on the conduct of due diligence activities being undertaken in anticipation of mergers, acquisitions and other business combinations and Board of Director responsibilities also will be discussed.
