Chicago, IL (March 18, 2019) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that Michael S. Ferrell, an experienced labor and employment lawyer who provides businesses with counseling on a variety of workforce management matters, has joined its Chicago office as a Member of the Firm. Mr. Ferrell comes to EBG from Jones Day.

Mr. Ferrell represents employers before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and private arbitrators, in employment discrimination claims, wage-hour claims, employment contract disputes, the interpretation of collective bargaining agreements, and matters involving the National Labor Relations Act. His practice extends nationwide and includes employers in the manufacturing, retail, health care, financial services, petroleum refining, and transportation industries.

“Mike has been a strong advocate for a number of well-known companies and brands and an asset to them as they work to prevent risk and achieve their business goals,” said David W. Garland, Chair of EBG’s Employment, Labor & Workforce Management Steering Committee. “Mike is the latest addition to our growing Chicago office, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our thriving practice.”

“Epstein Becker Green has a terrific reputation in the labor and employment space, and I am excited about joining such a strong team,” said Mr. Ferrell. “I look forward to continuing to serve my clients at a firm that works diligently to understand the challenges that employers are facing and creates solutions to help address those challenges.”
