David Garland of Epstein Becker Green PC said the principles espoused by Gorsuch in those cases “are instructive” for labor and employment lawyers in determining what his approach might be once seated on the high court, adding that his clear writing style will remain one of his key attributes if confirmed.
“He doesn’t write like other judges — there are less citations and less legalese,” Garland said. “You don’t need to be a lawyer to read and understand his opinions.”
