Newark, NJ (August 26, 2019) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that Tony Huber has joined the firm’s Health Care & Life Sciences practice to assist clients on various tax aspects of transactions and corporation governance, including mergers, acquisitions, debt and equity issuances, liquidations, reorganizations, dispositions and distressed/ restructuring matters.

Mr. Huber’s clients have included companies ranging from small closely held businesses and middle-market private equity funds to Fortune 500 and Fortune 50 companies in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, telecommunications, health care, pharmaceuticals, franchising, retail, and many others.

“Tony’s broad background and range of industry knowledge allow him to provide clients with timely and thorough advice surrounding proposed and completed transactions, including several of the largest and most publicized mergers and acquisitions of U.S. and multinational companies in the past several years,” said George B. Breen, Chair of the firm’s National Health Care and Life Sciences Practice Steering Committee. “His deep knowledge of tax law and vast experience handling such matters adds additional depth to our corporate transactional capabilities and our ability to handle projects from inception through resolution, and we look forward to clients benefiting from his arrival.”

Before joining EBG, Mr. Huber practiced in the Federal & International Taxation Group of a regional law firm. Previously, he was a Manager in the Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Division at one of the Big 4 accounting firms. Mr. Huber is also a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia.
