San Francisco, CA (April 25, 2025) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that Jeremy A. Avila, Senior Counsel, has been selected to serve on the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys (CSHA) Board of Directors.
Board of Directors appointees are charged with CSHA’s policy determination as well as performance and accountability to CSHA members. CSHA Board members exemplify the diverse composition of CSHA membership are critical to the short- and long-term direction of the organization.
Past members of the CSHA Board of Directors include leaders at Fortune 500 health systems and some of the largest law firms dealing in matters of health care.
Prior to his tenure at EBG, Avila served as Chief Counsel to the California Department of Aging, where he advised on regulatory oversight and compliance for Medicaid waiver programs, federal government grants, and skilled nursing and other long-term care facilities. He was also instrumental in implementing a variety of new state programs that serve the senior and disabled communities throughout California.
