John C. Tishler, Member of the Firm in the Health Care & Life Sciences practice, in the firm’s Nashville office, was quoted in Above the Law, in “Nashville Is Biglaw’s New Hot Spot,” by Staci Zaretsky.
Following is an excerpt:
Nashville, in the health care industry world, is pretty much the epicenter of for-profit health care, where investors come to own health care. I don’t really see that changing, in terms of health care being of great interest to investors.
— John Tishler, a partner at Epstein Becker & Green, in comments given to the American Lawyer, on this year’s strong merger activity within the Southeast, and the fact that firms are “hungry for growth” opportunities in Nashville’s specialized (and profitable) health care market. Tishler left health care firm Waller Lansden in November, and that firm recently announced a merger with Holland & Knight.
