New York, NY (October 10, 2023)Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is proud to announce that it has completed the Mansfield Rule 6.0 and achieved Mansfield Certification Plus status as part of the firm’s enduring commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Additionally, EBG has joined the Mansfield Rule 2023-2024, administered by Diversity Lab, for a continued focus on this strategic objective.

Mansfield Certification Plus measures the structural changes and steps EBG has taken over the past year to ensure paths to leadership—including lateral hiring, client pitch teams, promotions, appointments, and more—are open and transparent to all. Only half of the Mansfield Certified law firms achieved the “Plus” designation this year, indicating that EBG has not only taken steps to increase inclusivity in leadership, it has made measured progress in doing so.

“Achieving this significant milestone is a result of the Firm’s commitment to developing talented people with diverse perspectives,” said Carrie Valiant, Chair of the firm’s Diversity and Professional Development Committee. “We are dedicated to recruiting, training, mentoring, and—above all—investing in all of our talent for the long haul. Diversity is a strategic imperative, as consequential as anything we do as a firm.”
