But the terms listed in Cures as not falling under FDA oversight are pretty well accepted, said Brad Thompson of the Clinical Decision Support Coalition. “FDA would be called on the carpet if they tried to interpret the phrase in a way that was not supported by its traditional use,” he told Morning eHealth. “While it has several slightly different definitions, if you draw those definitions as circles, they overlap very substantially.”
