One immediate change that's likely under a Republican administration is a loosening of restrictions on when states can change benefits and eligibility determinations for Medicaid, said Epstein Becker Green law clerk Kevin Malone, who has worked at CMS’ Federal Coordinated Health Care Office. Those restrictions had been tightened during the Obama administration.
