As the firm’s Diversity Manager, Thalia M. Bowen is responsible for overseeing, on a national level, Epstein Becker Green’s diversity recruitment, professional development, and retention efforts. Primarily at the direction of the Director of Attorney Recruitment and Professional Development and the board-level Diversity & Professional Development Committee, she works closely with appropriate individuals within the firm’s various offices and/or practices to coordinate, promote, and support firm-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Additionally, Thalia collaborates with firm leadership to implement diversity training, programs, and initiatives that align with the firm’s Core Values promoting diversity, inclusion and equity awareness.
Prior to her current position, Thalia was the H.R. Manager for Epstein Becker Green in the Washington, DC office. She managed H.R. functions to ensure implementation of policies and procedures while maintaining appropriate levels of support and services.
Thalia is a member of the Capital Chapter, Association of Legal Administrators, Society for Human Resource Management, and the National Association for Law Placement, Inc.
