Attorney Michelle Hamamah provides advice to employers on all facets of employment law, with an eye toward reducing risk and optimizing workplace outcomes.
A trusted advisor, Michelle helps employers ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. She counsels on various employment matters, including wage and hour issues, reasonable accommodations, leaves of absence, employment contracts, changes to employee handbooks and policies (including bonus policies), employee classification, employee drug screening, and pandemic-related regulations. Clients also rely on Michelle to guide them through harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace investigations.
Michelle has worked with national employers in numerous industries, including retail, manufacturing, food and beverage, health care, advertising, hospitality, entertainment, insurance, and financial services.
Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Michelle was a labor and employment attorney at an international law firm. While attending law school, Michelle served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable John A. Kronstadt of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and then as a Law Clerk in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. Prior to law school, Michelle worked in the claims department of an insurance company that handled employment practices liability claims.
