Emilie helps employers navigate federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring that their policies and procedures are compliant with applicable laws and best practices. Employers also rely on her assistance in employment litigation matters involving claims of discrimination and harassment, as well as in wage and hour class, collective, and representative actions arising under federal and California law, including under the California Labor Code and the Private Attorneys General Act.
Emilie began her career at Epstein Becker Green in 2022 as a summer associate in the Los Angeles office, where she worked on projects relating to workplace discrimination issues. She earned a law degree from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law.
During law school, Emilie served as a staff member of the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal and was Vice President of Gould’s Energy and Environmental Law Society. She also clerked at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, in the Healthcare Fraud Division.
Before attending law school, Emilie worked as an environmental consultant at a multinational consultancy firm focused on sustainability, where she delivered greenhouse gas data verification for clients in a variety of sectors.
