Liz Houghton is an experienced litigator and trusted advisor who partners with employers to find solutions to their most challenging employment law matters. Liz counsels employers on all facets of employment law, with an eye towards minimizing risk and achieving optimal workplace outcomes. Clients across industries rely on Liz to represent them in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels and administrative agencies. Her litigation experience includes successfully defending against claims of employment-related discrimination, harassment and retaliation, whistleblowing, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant disputes.
In addition, Liz maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented individuals in immigration and family law matters.
Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Liz was a litigation attorney at an international law firm and previously served as an intern at the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Litigation Section.
