Overview
Health care organizations look to attorney Daniella Lee for advice and counsel on health regulatory issues and for representation in litigation and government enforcement proceedings that are controlled by complex regulatory regimes.
Whether in matters of health care fraud and abuse, false claims, or those relating to the Stark Law and anti-kickback statutes, Daniella’s clients rely on her guidance to reach or stay in compliance and avoid investigations, legal actions, and agency enforcement. Due to her extensive experience with defending a national retail pharmacy in opioid litigation, Daniella is also emerging as a “go-to” attorney on matters of pharmacy and pharmacy benefit manager regulation and litigation.
Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Daniella worked at law firms in Florida and Washington, DC, handling health care, antitrust, and white collar defense litigation matters, among others. Prior to that, she clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable Carol Mirando of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. During law school, Daniella interned for the Honorable Virginia M. Hernandez Covington, also of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and externed for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.
Daniella also teaches an appellate advocacy course at Stetson University College of Law as an adjunct professor.
