Overview

Attorney Alex Schwartzman is dedicated to delivering employment law solutions that seamlessly align employers’ legal obligations with their strategic business goals.

Alex partners with employers to navigate workplace challenges ranging from discrimination and harassment prevention to compliance with paid family and medical leave, wage and hour regulations, and workplace accommodations. Clients also value her practical, business-minded counsel on policy updates, workforce restructuring, reductions in force, and key employment documents, such as offer letters, handbooks, executive agreements, and separation agreements. Alex’s approach includes providing targeted workforce training on such topics as anti-harassment and diversity, equity, and inclusion, thereby fostering strong compliance and reducing risk for organizations.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Alex worked as in-house counsel for labor and employment matters at a technology company, addressing day-to-day employment questions and supporting policy development. Previously, she was an attorney at two plaintiff-side employment law firms and, later, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she worked on litigation and dispute resolution involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
