Attorney Adam Spilka brings 35 years of experience to bear when working with public and private companies on their corporate, securities, governance, and employee benefits and executive compensation issues.
He ensures that his domestic and foreign clients design and administer incentive and equity compensation plans in compliance with law. Clients also rely on Adam to structure and negotiate executive/key employee compensation and benefits packages.
Adam helps clients find risk-sensitive, pragmatic, and collaborative solutions to a wide range of corporate governance, compliance, and employee benefits and executive compensation matters. In addition to his legal experience, Adam is also a skilled financial services executive—for example, Adam is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of a start-up asset management firm, where he manages all operational, legal, and compliance activities.
Previously, Adam was a General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of a publicly traded asset management firm, serving on its Management Committee and overseeing Enterprise Risk Management. Before that, he was Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of a global asset management firm, where he headed the Corporate Practice Group. Adam has Series 3 and 65 licenses.
