Stuart M. Gerson, a Member of the Firm in the Litigation and Health Care & Life Sciences practices, in the firm's Washington, DC, and New York offices, was quoted in Debtwire, in “Rumors Buzzing That US Will Quit Quicken Loans Lawsuit,” by Susan Mandel and Al Yoon.
Following is an excerpt:
Gerson, an attorney at Epstein Becker Green who has defended companies in False Claims Act cases, dismissed talk of dropping the lawsuit as gossip. “I don’t think anyone has any inside information about what the government is or is not going to do in that, or any other case,” he said.
The Quicken Loans case “probably isn’t at the top of the list of things the incoming attorney general is most interested in,” Gerson said.
