Steven Swirsky is a Member of the Firm in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management and Health Care & Life Sciences practices, based in the New York office of Epstein Becker Green in New York City. He has been practicing labor and employment law for 39 years and joined the Section in law school while being a member of the ABA’s Law Student Division. Steven joined the Section to learn more about substantive developments in the field and to meet others who practice in the field both on the employer/management side, that he practices, and on the union/employee sides and with government officials and neutrals. Mr. Swirsky enjoys committee programs and activities, he belongs to the Committees on Developments Under the National Labor Relations Act and the International Committee. He believes the meetings are great opportunities to learn, exchange ideas and meet others who work in the field. Steven also enjoys contributing and participating in Section publications such as The Developing Labor Law and How To Take a Case Before the NLRB. From 1978 to 1983, Mr. Swirsky served as a Field Attorney with the National Labor Relations Board in Brooklyn, New York. He has represented employers since leaving the Board in 1983. This self-described “determined” lawyer is a great member to get to know.
