As for what employers can do right now, they should review their employees who are on F-1 student visa status to see if any of them obtained work authorization through UNNJ, Robert Groban of Epstein Becker Green said.

“We feel employers must assume that the work authorization from UNNJ is no longer valid,” Groban wrote in an email. “For this reason, employers should ask the F-1 employee if they have any other legal basis for work authorization. If not, they need to be terminated.”
