In the areas of salary thresholds and minimum wages, employers may expect little regulatory change and, perhaps, less vigorous enforcement at the federal level under President Trump’s pro-business, anti-regulation administration. There’s plenty of change afoot at the state and municipal levels across the country, however. Wage-and-hour compliance will continue to require vigilance - particularly for multistate employers.
