KRISTI E. JACQUES is a Senior Counsel in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management and Litigation practices, in the New York office of Epstein Becker Green.

Ms. Jacques:

  • Represents employers in lawsuits, arbitrations, and mediations involving an array of employment law issues, including breach of employment agreements, restrictive covenants, compensation disputes, misappropriation of confidential information and trade secrets, raiding, and harassment and discrimination claims
  • Litigates cases concerning a broad range of commercial business litigation matters, including contractual disputes, intellectual property issues, securities violations, environmental matters, bankruptcy issues, and class actions
  • Prosecutes and defends appeals in federal circuit courts of appeal around the country
  • Conducts internal investigations and prepares employers for anticipated litigation and regulatory action

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Ms. Jacques served as Deputy General Counsel and Agency Chief Contracting Officer for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Housing Recovery Operations, which coordinates post-Hurricane Sandy housing recovery efforts. In that position, Ms. Jacques provided advice, guidance, and support to management and staff on all legal matters relating to the operation and administration of the housing repair program. Previously, Ms. Jacques was an attorney in the Business Litigation Practice Group of an international law firm, where she practiced complex business litigation and investment treaty arbitration. She was also a Law Clerk for the Honorable Timothy C. Batten, Sr., of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
