The development of women’s health apps has exploded over the last five years. Mobile apps geared to women’s health now number in the hundreds of thousands. Women’s health apps are an important part of the billion dollar FemTech industry (i.e. technology related to women’s health). Millions of women now use apps that monitor their health and their bodies. These apps track fitness, nutrition, diet, reproductive health, medication compliance, meditation and mental health, and even disease and lifestyle management. The benefits of these apps to women can be substantial.
