New York, NY (December 18, 2014) – Epstein Becker Green’s Steven M. Swirsky, Member of the Firm in the Labor and Employment and Health Care and Life Sciences practices, in the firm’s New York office, has been named as one of only six Employment MVPs for 2014 by Law360. Mr. Swirsky has represented employers in connection with labor management relations law for more than 30 years. He regularly represents employers in a wide range of industries, including retail, health care, manufacturing, banking and financial services, transportation and distribution, electronics and publishing. He frequently advises and represents United States subsidiaries and branches of Asian, European and other foreign-based companies in connection with a broad range of labor and employment law matters, and in collective bargaining and employment related litigation before the National Labor Relations Board and in state and federal courts. Before entering private practice, Mr. Swirsky served as a Field Attorney with the National Labor Relations Board in Brooklyn, New York, from 1978 until 1983. He is a graduate of Fordham Law School and Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Mr. Swirsky is an editor of and frequent contributor to EBG’s Management Memo blog and the Health Employment And Labor blog. He frequently writes and speaks on a wide range of labor and employment law matters and presently serves on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations.
