Lynn Shapiro Snyder, a Senior Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences Practice in the Washington, DC office, was quoted in Modern Healthcare magazine on possible changes in store for the health insurance industry.
The article reported on topics discussed by Snyder and other speakers, including Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, at the American Health Lawyers Association’s annual meeting.
Snyder’s comments on health care reform involved speculation because President Obama, as she noted, “is very good at silence” and the only thing he has made clear is that he wants to sign a bill this year. “We will all sit there and read it, and figure out what the amendments are that are needed the day it’s signed,” Snyder said. “And that’s OK. That’s the American way.'”
