Epstein Becker Green has bolstered its employment group in New York with the addition of aircraft maker United Technologies Corp.'s former vice president of employment law and global human resources compliance.
Robert J. O’Hara started at Epstein Becker on Tuesday as a member in the firm’s employment, labor and workforce management practice group. O’Hara, who spent 18 years in-house at United Technologies, told Law360 that he joined Epstein Becker because he wanted a law practice where he could use his experience to help clients find solutions for their problems.
“I’ve known Epstein Becker for a long time, and I’ve always been very impressed by them because they’re very entrepreneurial, they’re very much problem solvers for their clients,” O’Hara said. “And so, I was thrilled when we started talking about me trying to come and add to their platform.”
At the firm, O’Hara said he will counsel and advise clients, conduct investigations and provide training. Though United Technologies is an aircraft manufacturing company, O’Hara said that his clients at Epstein Becker will be spread across all industries, noting that it wouldn’t be “just aerospace, elevators and air conditioners.” …
