New York, NY (June 25, 2020) Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that Robert J. O’Hara has been elected a Fellow of The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers, a fellowship of the most accomplished members of the labor and employment law community. Mr. O’Hara joins colleagues Erika C. Collins, Adam S. Forman, David W. Garland, Kenneth G. Standard, and Steven M. Swirsky as Fellows of the College.

According to the College, Fellows are distinguished attorneys who “promote achievement, advancement and excellence in the practice by setting standards of professionalism and civility, by sharing their experience and knowledge and by acting as a resource for academia, the government, the judiciary and the community at large.”

“I am honored and humbled to join the College,” said Mr. O’Hara. “I have a great respect for the attorneys who have been chosen for this distinction in the past, and I will strive to uphold the standards which the College expects of its Fellows.” 

Mr. O’Hara is a Member of the Firm in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice focusing on employment law, counseling, and litigation as well as human resources counseling, compliance, and training. He advises employers on all facets of the employment relationship, from pre-employment considerations and hiring to terminations and post-employment restrictions, as well as compliant diversity and inclusion program parameters. Mr. O’Hara’s experience also includes conducting and overseeing workplace investigations and government audits, having successfully defended more than 300 compliance audits by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and Wage and Hour Division.
