Paul DeCamp and Jeffrey Ruzal, Members of the Firm in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice, join a panel discussion, “On the Clock: Timekeeping, Misclassification, and Other Wage & Hour Challenges Facing Retailers Now,” at the 2022 Retail Law Conference, which runs from October 12 to 14. The conference hosted by the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and the Retail Litigation Center and co-sponsored by Epstein Becker Green.
Retailers face new legislation, court-made law, and agency regulations that complicate the industry’s already complex wage and hour landscape. Speakers will discuss wage and hour challenges and leading practices to avoid potential exposure, including strategies for timekeeping, mitigating potential off-the-clock work claims, classifying assistant managers, and complying with state-specific wage and hour requirements.
