On May 3, 2017, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) announced that it has completed the data entry of all fiscal year 2018 H-1B cap-subject petitions selected in the random lottery process. All of the H-1B cap-subject petitions that were not selected will now be returned. The USCIS presently is unable to provide a definite time frame for returning these petitions due to the high volume of filings. The USCIS will issue another announcement once all of the unselected petitions have been returned, and we will promptly publish another alert to keep you up to date.
