The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into health care promises transformative advancements in diagnostics, treatment, and operational efficiency. However, this transformation introduces significant clinical, technical, and socioethical risks. This article examines these emerging risks and analyzes a fragmented landscape of federal, state, and international regulations attempting to govern the development and deployment of AI in health care.
