Employment Law This Week (Episode 49: Week of November 7, 2016) has released bonus footage of its interview with Zachary C. Jackson, a Member of the Firm at Epstein Becker Green.
As Mr. Jackson discusses, the White House is calling on states to combat what it describes as the “gross overuse of non-compete clauses today.” The statement recommends legislation banning non-competes for certain categories of workers and prohibiting courts from narrowing overly broad agreements. New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman answered the call immediately, announcing that he would introduce relevant legislation in 2017.
