Stamford, CT (January 21, 2014) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green is pleased to announce that Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy, Jr., has joined as a Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice in the firm's Stamford, Conn., office.

As a leading healthcare regulatory attorney, Mr. Kennedy will counsel healthcare clients on the critical legal and reimbursement policy issues and changes facing hospitals, post-acute providers, government and commercial insurance entities, and life sciences companies.

Mr. Kennedy co-founded and served as President of the Marwood Group, a healthcare- focused strategic advisory and financial services firm. Under Mr. Kennedy's leadership, the Marwood Group advised hundreds of the nation's foremost healthcare companies, institutional investors, and trade associations. He previously served as a lawyer at a New Haven, Conn., law firm and as the Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at the Connecticut Hospital Association. Mr. Kennedy is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and is a Member of the Executive Committee of the Health Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
