Melissa L. Jampol joined Epstein Becker’s New York office Monday after spending over 11 years as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, where she most recently served in its health care and government fraud unit.
“I was very impressed with the deep wealth of health care experience at Epstein Becker and the fact that the firm does a wide range of health care-related matters,” Jampol told Law360 on Thursday. “It’s a really good complement to my criminal experience.”
At Epstein Becker, Jampol will represent health care organizations and directors in criminal and civil matters at the federal and state level as well as clients in False Claims Act, qui tam and kickback litigation.
