Another issue is that firms are still trying to figure out the best way to conduct a self-assessment and what areas to assess. They are also trying to determine how and in what form the information should be provided to the agencies and the public.
“One challenge that our clients are facing is how to define diversity,” says Rasnick. “While that may sound simple, it’s really quite complicated.”
