What are some of your most satisfying successes of 2019, and why?
Advocating clients’ causes, solving issues, communicating quickly and effectively, and providing excellent service are among the firm’s Core Values. We are only satisfied when our clients experience their desired and optimal result. We take pride in our team’s work and effort to proactively and strategically address issues and get deals done. Between us, we have closed no less than 15 significant health care transactions in 2019 that totaled, conservatively, over $1.125 billion, exhibiting geographic, substantive, sub-specialty, and market diversity. These transactions included the acquisition/recapitalization or sale of hospitals/health care systems, ambulatory surgical centers, imaging centers, clinical labs, home health companies, clinical research organizations, and physician and dental practices. …
Amid a changing market for legal services, what does it take to become a trusted transactional lawyer in New Jersey?
Our formula is simple: get deals done efficiently, combining the support of a nationally recognized firm with full subject-matter depth, breadth and experience critical to all aspects of a transaction, with common sense, practicality, and creativity. You quickly earn trust by impressing clients with what you do way more than by what you say. We blend real-world practicality with sophisticated know-how at less than a “big city” price.
A prospective client in crisis calls and asks why your team should be retained. What is your answer?
We solve problems, and get deals done, in the time frame needed. We often work on urgent deals in “crisis mode” – which means working all day and night, and speaking with clients and emailing and texting around the clock. We have the resources and “can do” approach to help our clients-no matter what it takes.
